As per attached, Department For Transport of England has recently revised their Security Regulations regarding Account Consignor. It has been demolished since 9th of December 2011 and the regulation has been intensified that all cargoes apart from KNOWN CONSIGNORS must get through the X-RAY (FIRST SCREENING). Therefore, please bear in mind that the air schedule cut off time will be much tighter effectively on each consolidation date due to the revised regulations.
S-logibis has the certification of regulated agent from Department For Transportation which provides us with more confidence to proceed UNKNOWN consignments much more efficiency during shipping process. According to the new regulation, it has been introduced; the failure of x-ray screening has markedly increased compared to before, especially high density and special shipments. These failed cargoes should be transferred to further examinations such as Decompression and R.E.S.T which may take additional 24 hours durations to be shipped once processed. Please refer to the rate of secondary screening as below.
